exhaust setup opinoins?/questions
exhaust setup opinoins?/questions
Ok i want to run some LT headers directly into dual electronic cutouts, then into dual cats, then into an slp loudmouth cat back. My questions are:
1) any recommendations on how to go about this (such as header brands, what cats to use, cut outs to use, y-pipe to use)
2) how much custom fabrication would be involved, (would i have to modify the loudmouth at all?)
3) does anyone have this set up? if you do then let me know how you like it, how much it all costed and anything else you think i should know
4) when the cut outs are open will the engine stumble or anything like that
5) O2 sensor placing? how many and where should i put them.
I'm not worried about being loud even when the cut outs are closed (in fact i hope its loud as hell)
Thx

Why not make your life simple and get the QTP header setup with the dual cutouts and then the LM ( or I would recommend GMMG
) You could probably swap cats in place of the cutouts when you needed to, and you'd have the benefits of open headers.

I have heard that hooker headers work really well. In fact I plan on getting the hookers and their y-pipe for a quality fit. I think it is the safest to buy the headers and y-pipe from the same brand. However it probably does not matter, but you will definately be loud.
