i agree some people are too obsessive with changing fluids but most of us drive our cars a little harder than a normal vehicle so we should change things a little sooner than recommended.

 

I'm probibly pushing 4,500 since my last oil change with Mobile 1.

It works good for me cuz I dont have time during the semester to mess with my car.

I'll change it before I go back to school.

 

you missed my point. it seems that guys are ultra-conservative on all fluid changes EXCEPT motor oil. it seems to me that i would rather do overkill fluid changes on the motor oil before tranny, rear end, coolant, etc.

it's a lot easier to change a rear end than it is to change out an LS1.
