High mileage LS1 wanna redo the motor has LS6 intake and all but just wanna get it torn down to stock and redone maybe bored out .010 over what would this run at an average shop?

motor is a 98 but has an LS6 intake and other misc mods (bolt-on ones)

 

98s have thin sleeves and can only be honed to a .005 oversize that's why I asked for the model year. All I can say is that you'll have to tear it down and inspect it. If there is any bore damage then move on. It will probably cost you a couple of grand for the parts and machine work. That's why the economy short blocks sell so well. I've seen as low as $2800 for a stock bore short block.
