When I start out from a stoplight it feels really sluggish, then i lay my foot into it a bit and it just springs to life, it is like being under a low load hurts it, but being abused makes it feel good.. I don't get it... any comments.... suggestions... Highway speed it does the same thing but much less frequently...

 

Check your fuel filter. Could be a cheap fix.
