Question engine seems to be flooding when i stomp on the gas.

Need help not sure what problem is if I rev it slow it is fine. When I stomp it engine seems to be flooding it self, tried to remove air filter to see if it was an air flow problem didn't work. If i let the engine idle and get hot it does not seem to be doing it but when i start down the road it cools and same thing happens. Going to try and put new spark plugs in and change the oil on wensday. Does any one have any suggestions, or had a similar probllem

Is this a 1984 Dodge Ram? Perhaps it's a 2002 Ford Focus?

You need to make a sig. with the short and sweet about your ride.
Most people wikk not go to your profile to see what car you might be asking about.

Might be a MAF problem.

It's probably your traction control, turn it off if you can. On my 98 I can turn it off and I turn it off every time I start the car. I like having control of my car. That's why I fixed (LOL) the automatic head lights and running lights.
