engine missfire??
engine missfire??
alright a while back i threw a SES light and i scanned the car and got a engine missfire code. i ereased the code. its been about 3 months and the code just came back. what will i most likely have to replace to correct the missfire. the code was p0300. i wanna get it checked out and fixed before and real damage is done. thanks in advance.
Re: engine missfire??
Have someone with a good scanner check and see which cylinders are misfiring and how badly. Did you happen to down shift too much while driving or while going to fast? Because if all the cylinders are misfiring and one or more really badly, you could have some bent valves. (Worst case scenario) Also it could be a plug, wire or coil pack.
Re: engine missfire??
its a 99 z28 m6 with about 69k on it. i have a lid, LTs, open y-pipe, pushrods and rocker arms, cam, and suspension work. i cant really remember if i downshifted too much. i will get it scanned to see wich cylinders are missfiring. thanks for all the help fellas
