Emissions Help!!!!!

Hey guys I just got the final warning for emissions and my check engine light is on. I currently do not have cats or rear O2 sensors, however, I put the O2 simuators on earlier this week which should take care of both those things. After I put the simulators on I had all the codes deleted and my check engine light came back on within 3.5 miles of driving. So now I am not too sure what it can be.... I also do not have any of the other emissions crap (EGR valve and what not) wold that bring the check engine light on though? If so would I have to put that back on or is there a way to delete that stuff from the computer. Thanks.

If you deleted the EGR system, then that will trigger the SES light. Did you also remove the AIR pump? Either way, you will need to get your PCM tuned if you want to get rid of the SES light.

Thank you

Thanks alot for the feedback guys... I'm definitely going to go up to Speed Inc. this week and see if they can delete those codes.... I better not get pulled over on the way there though because they already suspended my plates!!!

Yikes, why did you wait so long for a relatively easy fix? Good luck to you and Speed Inc. will be able to take care of your problem.

why don't you sell it to a family member and get the plates tranfered. i don't know your laws but they normally give you up to a year or two to fix them after you purchase a car. just a back door fix to buy some time
