Electric Cutout Questions

1) You put the cut-out before the muffler, and after the converter, right?

2) How do you wire the wires, so they dont touch the exhaust, so they 'give' due to exhaust/car movement?

3) Where can I get one cheaply?

1) Yes

2) You could use quick ties and attach them to a line running under the car. I believe there is a drain plug under the passenger seat that most people feed the wire through.

3) Check out www.quicktimeperformance.com/ and look at the QTEC. From everything I have read, it is one of the best electric valves. They are priced pretty reasonably.

I have two on my C-5. They are worth a solid 2/10's.
