I just bought a Z06 intake and I have a 00 Z28. I plan on getting headers, prob pacesetter. Question is, I either need to get my EGR blocked off, or adapt it for the intake. But when I get headers (very soon) I'll prob be dumping my cats, what are the differences between air injection hookups/ AIR / O2 bungs shut and EGR? If I get headers that eliminate EGR, do I still need to block off any EGR connections or will they all be elimnated with the headers? Even without EGR, are the AIR/O2 bungs still used and if so what for. If someone could please explain all this to me or point me to a write up or post, I would be much appreciative. Thanks
