Edelbrock LS1 Victor Race Headers?
Edelbrock LS1 Victor Race Headers?
I saw these headers on www.Jegs.com and noticed they are really cheap coming from Edelbrock. Will they fit a normal LS1 Camaro?
The discription states they are for racing applications only. I think this would be perfect for me. I looking to get headers, Y-pipe, and lose the cats. Any thoughts?

This may help a little.
(You may need to Sign-In / Register to view the thread) It has pictures of the headers and some information comparing them to Pacesetter's

Any thoughts?Stock cubes, stage 1 or 2 heads doesn't need 1 7/8" headers with 3 1/2" collectors. They could actually make your car run worse than a standard set of 1 3/4" 3" collector.
Re: Edelbrock LS1 Victor Race Headers?
I agree that they are a bit much for a bolt-on car. The collector is really nice, tho... Why don't you check out some Pacesetters, or Hookers if you are on a budget? Heck, you could probably find a used set of MACs for cheap. What are your goals with the Z28?
Re: Edelbrock LS1 Victor Race Headers?
I drive the car pretty much everyday, so gas is a concern and as a result any modifications I make within the next two years will only be bolt-ons (i.e. no internal engine work). The biggest thing I want is to remove the catalytic converts, use headers and a new y-pipe. Can someone tell me what I'll have to do to remover the cats?
