Dynomouth too loud with y-pipe

I am working on saving up for a dynomouth setup. When I get it done I will be doing it at a mom and pop shop, so I thought they might make me a new y-pipe, 2.5 inch. I was wondering if the exhaust would be too loud then. Also, what would a good price be if I bring them the dynomax bullet muffler ?

There is no such thing as to loud. No matter how loud it is, its never loud enough.

Trust me you are better off ordering the muffler from either Jegs or Summit, since the exhaust shop is going to charge you a minimum of double the cost from Jegs or Summit.. For example 3 different shops wanted $ 85 for the muffler in my area for the 12" Bullet and 18" bullet was $ 90, even Napa or Carquest could not get it cheaper then Jegs or Summit.. But if you can get the install for around $ 150, then that would be a good deal...

Now about being too loud, nothing is ever tooo loud but with Dynomouth.. If you are going to keep stock exhaust manifolds, stock Y-pipe, then I would recommend 12" Bullet, however, if you want to get LT Headers and/or Y-pipe, then get the 18" bullet so, you don't lose the deep tone..

What would be louder, a harley davidson motorcycle, or his car with the headers + y-pipe combo?
