Post Dynoed my T/A for the first time-nubmers inside...

Just got back form the dyno. All i can say is I LOVE IT... All i have right now is a lid, and a dynomouth exhaust(stock pipes, and tips), but anyways my numbers are:325.5 rwhp, and 339.2 rwtq... What do you guys think , pretty good for a nearly stock car??? I love LS1!!!

Question

Whoa. Those numbers seem really high. 325rwhp? You are telling me you are pushing around 385hp with just those 2 mods?

I absolutely believe him.
I pulled 318 rwhp/334 ft lbs on my 98 with a lid (fram) and a Dynomouth...

I believe it too. My buddy put down 340rwhp in a M6 '01 SS with a Lid, Powershot, and Loudmouth.

That's right in line with other '01 and '02 LS1's. I watched a bone-stock '01 WS6 M6 put down 327 RWHP! We had a '02 WS6 Collector's Edition dyno at the shop last week, and it put down 362 RWHP with FLP's with ORP, G2 lid and K&N filter, underdrive crank pulley, and Borla cat-back. The '01+ cars are STRONG! That's not to say that the '98-'00 LS1's aren't. My friend put down 350 RWHP with all of the bolt-ons with Macs and ORP way back in '99 when that was a feat! It's pretty amazing, especially when you get an "old-school" setup that dynos 300 RWHP with a huge hydraulic cam, ported heads, LT's, etc.

naturally-aspirated with bolt-ons, a cam, and a fat converter!

the fbodys lose about 40hp through the driveline, not 60.
anyway i believe the numbers too, my 2000 put 318 down with nothing done, and i know the 01 and 02's are better. great #'s man. nice torque, the 01 & 02s seem to have a bunch more torque mine had 322

------------------
2000 black WS6 6speed
318 RWHP 322 RWTQ stock
best et: 12.72 with the et streets. 60' 1.81
bestmph: 109.72 first time out, no mods, on the street tires
Mods: centerforce dual friction clutch, moser 12 bolt w/4.10's
BFG dragradials, PRO 5.0 shifter
whats next: put the borla on, take baffles out of WS6 hood, tb bypass, et streets
