I was expecting more out of those mods...

hmmm... think the tuning alone should help tons..

Did his dyno sheet look anything like this? I put down almost identical #'s without the Long Tubes...also, my air/fuel is a little more jacked up than that. Im richer.

Here's my sheet.

it certainly didn't put out what i was hoping which is usual. i also left out the car has a 4.10 gear. temp was 63.4 in the dyno room and barometric pressure was 29.41. after the pcm is redone we might go at it again hoping for at least 330.

impressively similar, yes. as for the run to 6500, that was just in amusement to see how bad it fell off that high up. the rev limiter was moved up that high because the guy driving it kept hitting the stock one on a regular basis as well as hitting it every time a burnout in in process. now it has a bit more time to grab the next gear when burning them. when running it hard, it's shifted around 5800 to 6000.

what was his rwhp before the mods?

I am thinking that the 85mm slp maf may be hurting him.. maybe the tuning is hurting him.. not sure what it is but either that car didnt have much to start with or something isnt right there...

catback and lid should put down those numbers..

never did get it dyno'd stock. i'm going to look into the power issue because i was hoping for 350 and it's off. the pcm is going back to ed wright to fix the rich condition. it's even turned the pipes black it's rich enough. the maf wasn't my choice, but i was hoping the programming would fix that. he also drove in off the highway and pretty much just had it strapped down, no cool off. before summer i hope to have it strapped back down for 340+ and some track times.

Wow that is a nice lookin guy in that pic (me)...eeerrr...uuummm. I mean nice lookin SS. You know what I mean. I was hoping for some more too. I had my bet on 362 with the mods. I don't think the 85mm MAF is helping either. The stock ones work good on the bolt on cars from what I have seen. I also know that car was hot when it went onto the rolllers. I herd the e-fans kick on just as he was backing it onto the hoist (BAD). Too hot, and tunning needs to be done. Do you think he will let you hit the track with it Mike. We could take turns driving it !

I have never been a fan of mail order tunes, Ill bet you can get alot more out of that car with a good LS1 edit tune or hp tuners program, BTW 12.1 is alittle rich on the airfuel nothing like being able to up the timing and fuel to see what it does on the dyno.
