Dyno results

I took my 2002 z28 to the Dyno 2 weeks ago and i am very happy with the results! These are the mods I have to the car: TSP air lid, K&N air filter, SLP smooth bellow, 3" cut-out, flowmaster exhaust. The RWHP is 315 and torque is 330. I am very pleased with these results seeing that I haven't really done much to the car yet. I hope to get rid of the flowmaster exhaust, the original owner put that on. I will putting on the SLP loudmouth exhaust system w/ my cut-out. I think that should bump it up by at least 5 RWHP. I have yet to do any of the free mods, but I will as soon as the snow clears up. Anyone have any suggestions about what a next good mod is? i plan on keeping the car street/strip use, mostly street. Eventually when I have the money, in the next 10 years, I willdo a heads/cam swap and slap a supercharger on it. Anyone have similiar dyno results; better, worse?

3.73 rear gears man. From what i hear after its done put on, its better then sex. Maybe not that good but if you want something your really gonna feel get gears leave headers and all alone for now. Its gonna cost me around 800 for my rearend and for someone to put it in.

Disregard his comment about leaving the headers alone. Hes crazy Headers make a world of difference and they aren't that expensive. You can get Jet-Hots for about $500 and install them yourself. (Its simple) You just can't be scared to try.

Trans, you have a point but headers wont give you that feeling of power like those gears will. I was gonna get headers but im saving them for later. Thats just me. Cars are about what YOU want not what everyone else wants, but its always good to hear diff views. My opinion is gears though.

Not gonna gain you anything. That is if you ran the dyno with the cutout open. With the cutout closed of course its a different story and you will more than likely gain an easy 5rwhp if not more over the FLowmaster. As for free mods you should do the free ram air mod. Cutting a slit under your air filter in the air box. The air dam and front of your radiator act as a deflector and directs air to the underside of the filter. I done it on my old 98 Z28 and it seemed to gain a noticable gain.
