Dyno numbers on my SS
Dyno numbers on my SS
I just recieved the dyno numbers on my 2001 SS M6. It was at 306 rwhp 328 rwtq. This was done about a month ago. I have since done head work, add hooker lt's, corsa cat-back exhaust, 4.10 gears, and a b&m shifter. Im taking it to the dyno on saturday hoping for 350+ rwhp. Ill keep u posted on the numbers
unless you did a cam your not gonna hit the 350 mark but good luck to you anyways onee question though if you took the heads of why not a cam?
oops forgot to add the 410 will cost you a couple too.

with the cam and headwork depending on the cam you should be closer to the 400 then 350 i have seen just cams and no head work ls1's put down 365 370 to the wheels. but that is with all the other bolt ons. headers exhaust and little things and roller rockers. ooops btw what cam?
nice get a nice tune and you'll be more than happy with your rearend breaking numbers good luck to you man!
i can't wait till i can do all kinds of mods to my car but that will be quite a while from now.

I know exactly where u are coming from. I just turned 19 and this is the first car i ever bought. Before this i was driving a 1988 Chevy p/up. I've been saving up money since i was 13 to do this stuff to my car and i couldn't be happier.
yeah i am 22 i had a 95z but i got sick of it after i wasted 3 g's on bolt ons owell i am happy now but think i spent to much money owell not really into raceing all that much but hope that in a year or 2 to put in all the bolt ons and suspension and be happy with alot of appearance mods.
Make sure that the comp cam you have in your car will work well with those 1.8rr's.. Due to the fast ramp rate of some of these aftermarket camshafts, going to a 1.8rr is not recommended. Your specific cam that you have could be different though, and if so forget what I said
