Question Dynatechs?

Anyone know how good the quality of Dynatech stepped longtubes are(i believe 1-7/8)? The guy i go to said he could get me some for about 650 new, and i looked around and they run usually 1000. I'm hoping to go with some dynatechs and a gmmg catback here soon, i decided i dont have a need for true duals until it gets some heads and a cam. Any input or suggestions is appreciated, like how they mount up and clearance issues.

Ive never dealt with them first hand, but they are supposed to be an awesome header. Thats a sweet price, Id scoop them up quick if I was in the market.

115-732300 SUPERMAXX 98-99 + F-BODY LS1 HEADERS $1,095.00
115-732300S SUPERMAXX 98-99 + F-BODY LS1 SYSTEM $1,495.00

thats straight from the dynatech webpage, 1000 for headers, and 1500 for headers and y-pipe

on a side not....

why do you exhaust twice??

if you're planning h/c in the future that will benefit from TDs....why not do them now? instead of spending $800 on a catback and then in 2yrs trying to sell it and build a TD setup

Great headers. That's a great price.

As far as true-duals go.... there's no point in killing yourself over them... Sure, they sound nice and all, but a 4" Mufflex or something of the sort is all you need for a street/weekend car.

I believe Jordon Musser was running a 3" Borla in his 470+ rwhp LT1 stroker motor some years ago.

because a 2.5" (size of the 2 gmmg mufflers) true dual will be cheap if not free from friends. im going to use the gmmg mufflers with same headers

Yeah when I went duals on mine it made very little difference in the power.
As far as the Dynatech headers go, I have an old set on my car that fit and work great.

For that price, buy 2 sets and sell one for a profit.
