whats the difference between an ls1 and ls6

 

oil passages are bigger in the ls6 than the ls1

 

how hard is that to do to an ls1?

 

The LS6 motors are in Z06 Corvettes. They have different heads, cam, and intake manifold, along with minor things like computer and what not.

LS1's are in 98-02 Camaros and I think 97-02 Corvette C5's. They have minor differences though between the models and years.

and the 2003 and 2004 C5s...they still make the Corvette coupe and convertible, ya know...

 

okay, there were also a few f-bodies with ls6's in em also if you really wanna get down to it.......

 

From my understanding it was just the LS6 block and LS6 intake manifold.

 

all 01-02 f-bodies got the ls6 intake....and only a small amount of them got the ls6 block by some streak of luck or something...
