i wanted to put it but have heard you need a custom setup, need to pay more to get the exhaust tips to come out past the axle? plus you lose precious ground clearance

i'm just talking about myself...others i'm sure love theirs!

You lose ground clearance or have to beat the hell out of the floor pan under your back seats for the mufflers to sit up in.

IMHO, dumps looks like their name emplys. DUMPY. What, you couldn't afford to have a little extra pipe ran out the back or side? Then you get the dust kicked up from the exhaust pulses, and the possibility of becoming asfixiated from CO or even just smelling more fumes. No thanks. I could run dual cut outs on the Y pipe for less.

And yes, I said more weight from a full true dual. Think about it, 2 3" pipes brought together in the middle to the X and back out a bit, all the way back over the axel w/2 mufflers and the extra hardware to hang the extra pipe. Compare that to say the the single Mufflex 4" pipe w/ 1 muffler.

Thanks to some of you....Now this is just an idea.....How about running exhaust manifolds out of the side, behind the front wheels? Maybe get a custom ground effects kit to make it look good? SLP is planning to run the Ultra Z with that same setup...race purposes only.

The cam, intake, and pulley were all done at the same time. So yeah.

I did get around to putting 18in C5s wrapped with new tires, and bought a TSP Lid. Next month is Corsa Exhaust. Then head to the track to get a more respectable time.

I don't have the facts handy... but:
From what I understand, the 4" exhaust is pig heavy, even compared to duals.
Just a quick comment on the post about weight.
