86RED- I bought the setup from one of my club members for a song, and another member installed it for me. My total out of pocket was $250. Most guys can buy the parts and get it fabbed up for $350-500.
Yeah, I've looked at buying the Dynomax bullet mufflers and Headman x-pipe, and getting the muffler shop to do the rest. Thanks for the reply.

No problem. Apparently the company cut the link to the picture, sorry. Cut and paste may work. If you do it, the sound is intoxicating, and you will love it. I wouldn't have anything else.

This is my dual setup: asymmetrical, dual 2.5" mandrel-bent w/ x-pipe into dual transverse mounted Spintechs.

I agree, that's an interesting setup. I've never seen one set up like that before. How much of a difference could you tell on the in the performance?

GoFast, you can get the x-pipe from Jeg's.

Yeah, when I designed the exhaust routing I had never seen it done that way on a Camaro either. I just didn't want to have to deal with the clearance issues of running an exhaust pipe down the drivers side of the car: fuel lines, panhard rod, axle, etc.

I don't believe that I really picked up any more power than if I had done just a single 3" pipe into one Spintech (Mufflex-style), but the sound of true duals is totally different than single exhaust so it was worth the effort to me.

Do you have any pics of the underside of the car when it's on a lift?

Do you think the 3" is overkill for a mild engine, or does it work well w/any setup(stock, modded)? I've talked to a guy and he told me the dual 3" wouldn't hurt the performance on a stock engine. I know it would work well on on a highly modded engine.
