And I learn more every darn day.. Heh So help!! ><

A "true dual" setup is exactly that. There is one pipe running form each header all the way to the rear of the car. On newer cars this will create a propblem due to the fact that dual cats(catalytic converters) are necessary for this setup. but the overall power gains(with the right setup) is worth it.

It will be difficult to pass emissions, but the sound is unreal. These systems have to be fabricated, except for Speed Inc. who sell them complete (Lane's also), but they are not any more expensive than the upper priced catbacks.

How loud is that.Say compared to a loudmouth(too loud/droning for me).I don't want too loud and droning in the car when highway driving.I have MAC headers and a dynomax cat-back right now.I want something that sounds better though, tired of sitting quietly while all the Mustang guys enjoy the good sound!

IMO it does not drone as bad as my LM with gutted cats. The whole car would buzz at 80 in 6th. It does not have the rasp I had with the LM and headers. It can be loud as hell, but if I want it tamer I can keep the revs down. I had a guy in a Trans AM hanging his head out to listen, and everyone that hears it thinks it sounds mean as hell. The cam should really make it nasty.

When I finally meet girls in person (not over internet) that I can pick up with my exhaust setup, I will be very impressed.

Very nice setup. If you had cats, there would be no problem passing emisions right? What is the website for Speed Inc. i can't find it. Does anyone have a crossbrace still on there after installing true duals? Can you put a ds safety loop on with true duals? What do you guys do when the track requires one?

If you leave the brace on, the X would be below it; and you would have no ground clearance.

Looks good. Did you have a local exhaust shop do it for you? If so, how was the price when compared to buying from lane's wheels if you don't mind me asking.

what if you used something to lower the brace a few inches so that the brace did cover everything?

It would be directly below the X, and scraping everywhere. The car feels no different without it. There are about 8-10 cars in my local club running a similar setup, and all of the tranny braces are gone.

86RED- I bought the setup from one of my club members for a song, and another member installed it for me. My total out of pocket was $250. Most guys can buy the parts and get it fabbed up for $350-500.
