driver side running rich

driver side running rich
i have a ls1 camaro 2001 motor the driver side of my car is running rich see i have true duals and black smoke and really rich gas fumes are coming out of it. Do you think this might be an o2 sensor it just started doing this. i cant go by my check engine light cause none of my gauges work but the car was running fine any info will help out thanks

I would find someone with a scanner and see what it tells you. but I would have to agee that it might be an O2 going out on that side sending an incorrect reading to the PCM. You could try and swap the O2's from one side to another and see if the problem moves. Then you would know.
