Door making noise(not totally aligned)

Door making noise(not totally aligned)

well when i open it, it makes a atehr loud POP noise...(i know where it is, ill post pics later tonight) it seems its not aligned right...(dam heavy doors) just happened in the last week or so, anyone have this problem, and if so how they fixed it?

the two parts making contact are the front part of door, and the front fender thing...(just below the line in the middle of the door..

If the door is actually touching the fender, some new door hinges/pins should do the trick if everything else is still in order. You might want to try lubing up the door hinges first though. I just recently cured my problem (only had the problem for a day and a half though) with a very creaky door, that also seemed like it was hitting something. It made a very audible Pop noise. I just generously sprayed the hinges with some spray lube and the problem instantly went away.

thx for reply, but i can physically see the door hit the fender thing... ill try lubing it, but doubt will help..

New hingepins and bushings should do the trick. Oh and I don't know if you do or not, but it is real hard on hinges to leave your car with the door open for extended periods of time.
