I am extremely happy with my corsa system. The only bad thing about it so far is that I have not hammered the heat shield in a little.

When I was at a dyno with a few other cars I received a few compliments on how good it sounded and some wondered if I had LTs on it. I don't yet, so that must be she is really screaming!!!

Anyhow if you don't like the tone, toss on a set of LTs, that should make it a lot louder and meaner. I can't wait till I get my QTP headers!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yea we both have a 99 z28. He bought his new so I know everything that is on it, I bought mine about a month ago used so all I can see is the obvious which is a borla cat back. It may have a different cam but I doubt it.

 

Cool thx! Ok everyone, thanks for the help. I think I'm gonna try the Borla Turbo XL muffler if it has the ground clearance for F-Bodies. If that turns out, I'll sell the Corsa (just the muffler of course). I'll let you guys know what happens. I'll have to wait 'til I get my tax return to get it. Wish me luck.

 

Why don't ya just remove the Corsa tips first? My girlfriend and I removed the Borla tips because we thought they looked completely gay for one but it also made it sound a bit more like a muscle car. Inside and out. Give that a shot before you start spending more money....

 

Because I love the way the Corsa tips look.

 

I have not heard the corsa system, but I have the borla system,
rear section, with headers, and it sounds great. I feel what ever system you have, headers will enhance the sound and give it a strong feel as u drive.
