I have a 98 camaro ss and i want to put some kind of aftermarket cam to make more lope and power. Does anyone know of any cams that will still get me to pass smog in california? Basically, anything with a carb eo number is calif okay!

Nope.. no CARB # on any AM cam. But if you don't go too radical on the lift and duration and stay with a 114 LSA or higher you have a good chance of passing smog.

I don't know of any LS1 cam with an EO number; but I have used the Comp Stage II cams in several motors which passed CA smog check with no problem at all.
