i dont really wanna do this but if you gain like 10-15 hp and reduce like a couple tenths than i may consider this, thanks for all the help

 

The only way you would go quicker ETs would be because of the weight loss. As for power gains, none.

 

rumor has it that the tube inside the intake manifold, just behind the TB, hinders flow, and thus removing it can gain you power.

For what it's worth I did this mod. It did not make much HP.
It did cause a SES light and make my car fail visual inspection for emmision's in Tx. IMO Not worth it.

 

i also just read the the EGR removal helps keep intake air cooler by not introducing the hot exhaust gasses.

feasibly this would increase hp as well...but again...not enough to notice.

if you have to pass emmisions in any way, shape or form...don't bother.
