I read somewhere on the web that some have built in radar detectors, and I am suspecting that my camaro might have it because there is a button between my rear view mirror that I don't know what it's for. When I push it, a little led turns green but I don't know what it is. Could it be the radar detector? Or how can I tell if I have it and how do I use it? The manual says nothing about it.

 

ON THE WEB...................that should have been your first clue! NO, unfortunately Camaros don't come equipped with radar detectors (well, unless I've been kept in the dark about it?!!? ).

No, radar detectors have not been an available option from GM.

Also, if you would have one and it is on, I'm sure you'd notice the sound it makes when it detects something, right?

Somebody corect me if I'm wrong, but the button you describe is the switch for auto-dimming rearview mirror.
