What area tends to get wet when it rains, on my Z with t-tops the passanger floor side would get really wet like puddles.

Trying to see how much water will get in when it rains on convertables.

My car would get really wet about 50% of the time ,but that was t-tops.

Thanks Again,
Jim

i would say it gets wet about %40 of the time, only when it rains really hard or its wind/rain. mine also gets wet in the back passenger seat so bad that it puddles. i removed the rubber stopper so i could drain!!!! works great....and i cant spray my top at all at a car wash, it freakin leaks everywhere except the windshield.....but my top is gettin pretty old (7 years) and i need a new one....and there really expensive.

The only time mine leaks is if I go through an automatic car wash.

same here. Mine only leaks through an auto car wash. It used to drip on the inside of the drivers window a bit, but the dealer replaced the window seal on that side and I haven't had a problem since.

I think the only way you are going to get a leak free car is with a hard top and side windows that are tight and go up really far.
But even that is a gamble.

Mine can stay super dry for weeks of rain then one day I will go out after a mist and it is flooded

My SS only gets a few drops down the the inside of the door windows when I go through an automatic car wash, too. Other than that, It stays dry. It does have more air noise from outside though, like every convertible. That's it.

My SS very rarely ever leaks. And when it does you know it's really coming down outside. Even then, it's just a few drops.

The only time that I have ANY leak is when I accidently spray water directly on the front edge of the passenger side window when washing. Even then, it is only a couple of drops rolling down the inside of the window. Maybe this is the exception rather than the rule.............

<---- never had a leak before.

I will never take my car thru a automatic car wash either.

I know, I know. I only do it when I'm in a rush. I have a place where I can hand wash it now though.
