Dmh Electric Cutout Or Mpp2

I am going to be getting an electric cutout soon. I have done alot of searches on the cutouts. I know that some have had problems with there cutouts and some have not. I found this one electric cutout by dmh and it seems like no one has had any problems with it besides a few burned up motors. It was something like 12 in two years and 3 of them were from the same customer. Anyone have any experience with this cutout. Also if anyone has any comments on any other electric cutouts such as the mpp2 or QTEC.....thanks

Looks like it costs nearly twice what a mccord. Is it that much better?

Yup. It says the unit has 3 year warranty on motor and blade, though. But will the company be there that long...?

I think I'm still going to save a few bucks and get a McCord ($105 + s&h + cutout) or QTEC ($169.99 + s&h w/cutout).

I am not sure how many people have had the dmh cutout but not that many people have said bad things about it. I have done alot of searches and tons of people have had problems with the qtecs and some with the old mpp1. I just dont want to have to send it back.....the mpp2 website doesnt even offer a cutout package....thats stupid....dmh does though $199 shipped....the mpp2 can be bought with different switches or you can send them what you want and they will wire it .....no one else offers that......they even have the convertible switch....

I have had my DMH for over 3 years without a problem. Top quality and Dave is very good to deal with. I would say that since he makes probably the best electric cutout you can buy that he will be in buisness for a long time. Shoot him a mail and ask him if he will be in buisness. He will probably get a laugh out of it.
