difficultly/length of time manifold gasket

difficultly/length of time manifold gasket

for a 2000 z28 a4. drivers side. How long will it take on average. What is involved? and is it difficult in you opinion

If its the exhaust manifold gasket, then it shouldn't take you longer than 2 hours with just two or three sockets and extensions (flex's help). leave the bottom/ypipe bolted up, just remove all bolts, and slip the new one in.

If you're doing an intake manifold gasket, all sides need to be done because you get a new set and they are re-useable so just put in the new ones all around. If you've never done an intake manifold before it will probably take you a few hours, but usually an hour or hour and a half.

The studs that attach the Y-pipe to the manifold will most likely break off.

Why are you replacing the exhaust manifold gasket? They NEVER fail.

exhuast manifold gasket. it seems to be leaking. and when i turn a/c on it seems like my exhuast is vibrating
