How much power do you think just those newer tubular manifolds are worth over the 99 version?

What else changed besides the exhaust?

I don't know the difference between a 99-00 but the 01-02 have the LS6 intake with no egr and the cam from the 6 lt in the silverado. A 01-02 LS1 makes around 10- 15 more rwhp then a 98-00. Also there's not really any noticable difference in power between a Z28, SS, Trans Am, WS6.

 

my 99 seems to be about 30hp LESS than the rest of the f bod world. I ran almost the same time in my 99Z as my 94Z and both were stock.

Though I know the 99 has handicaps. Convertible, 2.73 gears to start with...

 

That would explain it... especially if it's auto

 

yeah, I am thinking 3.73 gears, a converter, and maybe a cam. Actually, I am going back and forth between cam or headers/exhaust. Not sure which I want to do first.
