There's a big write up about it in the new GMHTP. Is it worth $500??? Does anyone have it? Share your opinions on it, i'm considering it

No. It's not worth $500. I think it's worth $419 though for a near stock car. That's what I paid from TByrne with free shipping, no tax and a free Hypertech 160 thermostat. Keep an eye out for group purchases.

I have had problems with mine though. It didn't disable my CAGS and only gave 5 hp & 5tq. It runs way rich with their regular 'performance tune'. I leaned it out a few bumps and it is a ton better now. There is a definate SOTP difference. When I send my dyno sheet to them they are going to make me a custom tune and make sure my CAGS get disabled. Their customer service has been great. It's good to know that even if there are problems, they'll get it right without a hassle. The code scanner and real-time monitoring of sensors works flawlessly.

It works great on my 2000 Formula. I gained a tenth and 1 mph over the HPP tune that I had. And the extra adjustability of the fuel and spark are great for fine tuning.
I got mine from James at www.runninwiththedevil.com and also got a custom tune to remove the rear O2s and COT at no extra cost. Great customer service there too. He just e-mailed me yesterday to ask how things were going with the new tune.
