den in my new hooker cat-back?

I just got my catback, and when i open it up i see that the pipe that gos over the rear end had a big *** dent in it. should it be there? the box was not damaged in any way. and the pipe was i the middle of the box too.

kindda looks factory...but i have no idea why it is needed.

i don't think it's worth worrying about...won't hurt flow at all.

Yeah the factory pipe has a dent in it for clearance too.
