to the IAT sensor and grommet in the stock lid!

How did yall get them out when you switched over to a aftermarket lid? I tried to pull it out w/ needle nose pliers (one the SIDES of it), and it will barely budge.

I liked to never got the dang MAF out of it, that took heat!

Sprayed it liberally, let it sit, and then finagled w/ it 'til it finally came out.

I also think that I used a little bitty screwdriver to coax it
out - seems like the grommet came out w/ the sensor.

I do remember that MAF being a real beotch !!


I used anti-seize on it when I put the lid on - a little messy, but it sure comes off easy !

That's just what I was going to tell you to do. Push with one hand, pull with the other.
