Heard an LT1 with headers and a cutout, holy sh*t thats loud. Noting the fact that LS1s are a bit tamer in the volume department I'd like to know what my car would sound like with FLP headers and a cutout. Anyone run this on a daily driver. Does it ever get to be too much?

 

My buddy is running an LS1 with hooker longtubes cam and open borla, now that is loud, it quiets out my car by far which has open borla and no cats

 

i have flp longtubes with offroad pipes and borla wide open catback..... and sometimes its on a cutout that damn loud...it was loder when i had open header 3 weeks back

Ive got Hooker LTs with a cutout and yep on a LS1 its damn loud. But if you want really loud you should hear my buddies 502ci blown 69 camaro the thing idles so loud in the lanes that when i was in my car next to him i couldnt hear myself think.

You think that's loud.... the other day I heard a head/cam LT1 with straight headers heheh

It felt like some dude in an SUV was rollin by with a buncha big *** subs everytime it loped.

 

I gots me an 410 sprint car with open headers that's louder than any of those Bring on the nitro cars!

 

I see there is more and more people from Illinois in here, who here posts on chitownracing.com that's from around chicago?

 

lt1s are noticably louder than ls1 at idle, I think it has to do with the firing order.
