damn.
so does that mean that my brother could put in an ls1 in his car he is building and just put that on instead of the normal intake, and not have to do any of the wire harness bs to make it all work?

you gunna do an ls1 swap now

easier to drop into an older car and not have to worry about so many wires and stuff. that and i am pretty sure a lot of drag cars use carbs so i am assuming they can make more hp. i dunno about the 2nd one, but i knoo the first one is a for sure.

Yeah, I was surprised when I first found out that race cars still use carbed engines.

ya carbed cars make more power with less money... BUT FI cars are more reliable and not as radical as carbcars

I hate to rain on your guys parade BUT,
the LS1 is a distributorless engine. You would
need the computor to manage the ignition system.

Unless ofcoarse you get an aftermarket ignition
system.

Sorry guys but, IMHO FI still has more potential
and reliability. I like getting 20mpg with a 13 second
convertible, though I wouldn't mind the simplicity of
a carb.

OMFG!!!

That is SOOOO badass! I haven't always been a huge fan of Edelbrock. But that sounds like a sweet package there.

How much for the intake with all of the electronics again?
