Cylinder heads

Hi Guys. I haev a short description about heads..taht I am lookin at.
- GM Stock 6.0L LQ4 Aluminum Heads. These heads have factory springs, valves, retainers, etc are installed and included with the heads. These aluminum heads have not been resurfaced or milled- they are ready to be installed. They feature 71.06cc combustion chambers, 210cc intake ports, 75cc exhaust ports, 2.00 intake and 1.55 exhaust valves.
I was wondering if I can buy those..and get them ported to some decent size and make them a set of nice flowing heads. Is it worth buying ? How much would machine shop charge me for the job ? roughly.
My car is a 00 Z28. IT says taht those heads will fit on LS1 motors.
Thanks a lot.

Combustion chambers are too big for practicle use as a performance head on an LS1.
Sorry.

Sorry.
while the Chamber may be bigger these are basicly LS6 heads as they have the same port design
check out Patriot Performance or here or here they are local to Charlotte
these heads would bring your Compression ratio down to 9.5 to 1 which is great for a Blower or turbo
