crunching from rear going over bumps
crunching from rear going over bumps
My '99 T/A has a crunching noise from both sides in the rear when going over bumps. I can even hear it slightly during slow turns in a parking lot. My '98 T/A used to do this in the cold but it's 80 degrees here. Do I need new shocks or what? The car is bone stock with 40,000 miles.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I had the same thing happen to my 99.It turned out to be the bushings in the LCA's believe it or not.I tried spraying them down with lube but it didn't help much.I bought a pair of Lakewood LCA's with poly bushings and grease fittings and that took care of the problem.Have someone push up & down on the car while you locate the source of the sound & see if that's where it's coming from.Good luck.Got my LCA's from Summit for around $75-80.Best price I could find
