coolant hose clearance

Hey. I just finished doing the throttle body bypass mod. I used a kit I got on ebay so I wouldn't have to drive around trying to find the right size parts (I'm lazy like that).

I got both hoses on the barb completely by taking off the short hose from the engine and then twisting it on with a lot of elbow grease. Then, I just connected it back to the engine.

The rubber cap was too big to use on the outlet from the throttle body so I used a rubber cap I had left over from some shelving:

I'm a little worried about clearance now since that hose goes below my intake. I situated the hose clamps to be sure nothing is hanging down, but it still seems a little close to me.

Is this normal? Any suggestions to get more clearance? ... or am I just being paranoid?

You need to go and buy a longer hose so that it can run along the radiator then back to the crossover tube to get it away from the WP pulley.
