confudled a bit on the Bassani ORP

got my orp and was looking at it...

it has 3 o2 bungs welded in. i know you need the two front sensors for proper engine fuction. but what the heck would the 3rd be for?

why would the have you reinstall ONE rear sensor into the pipe when it wouldn't even be used?

You have a 99 ... I believe the driver side front O2 bung is in the manifold, the driver side rear is in the y-pipe and the passenger side has the front and rear in the Y-pipe.

The more important question though is, why does an ORP even come with the rear bungs???

Just a guess but if the first two are for the front O2s and there's a single bung behind them then I guess it's possible that it's for a wideband O2?

talked to the guy i bought it from.

v6toz28 you are right, the one front sensor is in the manifold and the other 3 are in the ypipe.

he said he called bassani and they said that the other two were for a/f meters or things like that

Just do like I did and go to an autoparts store to buy some plugs for the extra holes.
