anyone using these lifters, are these lifter loud, mine are louder than the stock ones, tick tick tick, and i did set the preload right at zero lash and 1/16 turn on hot settings, just wondering if they are loud

 

Do you have adjustable rockers? Comp R's are tricky. Pre-load is supposed to be between .010 and .015" which would equate to your 1/16 turn. You can tighten them a little more to quiten them down, but at the risk of faliure and poorer performance. They tick cause they are set-up "loose".
