cold weather=2 much wheel spin?
I live near chicago and its cold now, (duh) my camaro isnt my everyday driver but on nicer days in winter ill take it out, my question is that when its like 30 out and i gun it, even in like 3rd my wheels spin, i havent had the car that long maybe like a month, in the summer will i get alot better traction? i hope the weather makes a huge diffrence cause when my rear end slides out when i dont think it will, it freaks me out!
Yeah, cold here in South Dakota too. I burn em up through first and some of second. Yeah, spinnin em at 50+. Kinda cool to show off, but sucks for traction. BTW, it's not that bad in the summer, you'll see much more traction.

Yup the colder it gets the longer they spin. When it hit about 50 degrees here a few days ago all I got was normal peelout that ended at about 10 mph. When its like 10 degrees outside the back end was flying left and right and left footprints about a block long and when they stopped spinning the car shifted into third and barked the tires again.
