CNC LS6 heads + CC 216/220 cam = ??

I am obsessed with the CNC LS6 kits that Pace is selling, and am doing my best to find a cam that will work with the heavily planed heads (and their high 11.25:1 compression) and yet make near 400 horses with a broad powerband using my current mods and yet still pass emissions tests and be near stock sounding.

My car is setup for SCCA Solo2 and street/roadracing, not quarter mile drag racing so keep that in mind, and for the next year or so it will continue to be my daily driver while I pay it off...

The heavy planing of the head prevents high lift cams, so what do you guys think of using the Comp-Cams 216/220 .525/.532 114 LSA cam with the CNC LS6 heads?

Is the compression on the CNC LS6 heads just too high for daily-driver usage? Would the Comp-Cam 216/220 head work better with "stock" LS6 heads instead?

My alternate plan is to order the Thunder Racing CNC Stage 1 heads and a TR220/220 553/553 114 LSA cam. However, I'm afraid the TR220 is a little to hot for my purpose, I want 400 horses without noticeable lope and I need to keep it emissions legal.

The price of each setup will be VERY similar once complete (LS6 likely slightly cheaper), however I get to sell my LS1 cores with the CNC LS6 setup, so that makes the LS6 setup $200 to $300 cheaper than the Thunder Racing setup

Any opinions or thoughts? What mild street cams are you guys using with the CNC LS6 heads?
