Clutch Problem... ??
Ok, latley I've noticed that if I hold the clutch in for any period of time (say, stop and go traffic) The clutch pedal will literally "stick" to the floor and hover just inches from fully depressed and the car will thus, shake and want to stall out... Then I have to use my toe to pry the pedal back up. The clutch is smoothe in all other situations, it only happens if I hold the clutch down for a while and then try to move in 1st. I checked the hydrolic clutch fluid, but it was filled to the brim. Do I need a new clutch/pressure plate?

Re: Clutch Problem... ??
Our clutches are hydraulic...so, I'd say check your fluid level (small white canister on driver's side of the firewall -- uses brake fluid) first. This more than likely isn't the problem though. It sounds like your slave cylinder is sticking. I had the slave start to go on my '99 @ ~55K miles. They updated the design for '01/'02 f-bodies, but it's still kinda crappy. If you end up having to replace the slave, you might as well replace the clutch too given it's location between the tranny and the pressure plate. Z06 clutch with flywheel should run you $400 if you look in the right places plus $100 for the slave and pilot bearing. If you want a little more gripping power, McLeod and Spec are good names.
