Clutch Break In

I just had a new clutch put in (stock clutch, new slave and fly wheel) and want to know the proper break in. I believe it is like 500 stop and go miles. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Mario

500 is the rule of thumb, but my last clutch had a normal wear pattern after only 300.

Whatever you do, DON'T rock on it for a while! You could put a glaze on it and ruin it.
