clunking sound?

clunking sound?

now i know a lot about cars and im sure i know what the problum is, but i just wanted to ask the guys on the board.

when i put it in gear from a dead stop it makes a clunk from under the car. now i think its the torque arm doin its thing but im not totaly sure.

what do you guys think

Yeah, sounds like the torque arm. Mine clunks pretty loud when parked on an incline. GrRRRR!!!!

Possibly a broken tranny mount, not an uncommon problem. I've also been through that.

Mine does the same thing. It's a small clunk right when you put it into 1st. I always though it was normal, just the tranny getting out the slack in the gears or something. My old truck does it tp.
