Clunk noise when rolling over bumps
Clunk noise when rolling over bumps
I'm now getting a clunk noise coming from the right front wheel area when i roll over bumps. It almost sounds as though a suspenion part has come apart. It sounds simliar to when my brake caliper came a loose on my LT1. I checked the brake caliper but it's in place. Anybody have any ideas?
One of your front bushings on the front right side is bad.
Its worn out and everytime you go over a bump or brake pretty hard, the wheel will shift back and fourth slightly causing a clunking noise.
I had the exact same problem on my Tbird.
Most likely that is it.

Whats the best way to check this stuff out? Mine also has a noise over bumps. On the dual a-arms are there just regular bushings? Most of the time it's the large disk bushing but mine appears to be fine.
