The A/C, Defroster, etc. climate control fan in my '98 Z28 is starting to make really loud, ugly noises, so I need to replace it.

Has anyone ever done this before, and if so, where is the fan/motor located and how do I get to it.

It sounds like it is behind the passenger side dashboard.

Thanks for any help. On 1,2 & 3 speeds it sounds like when a kid puts a playing card in his bicycle spokes. On the highest speed it is making a huge rumbling sound.
