Check out this 228?

This looks kind of interesting. What do you guys think of this cam?

Would it make good power for street/strip? I dont want to rev past 6500.

It uses the z-cam lobe profiles.
http://www.sdpc2000.com/catalog/3876...0-0600-113.htm

Its advertised duration is 290 @ .004....so I dont know how to compare the ramp rate. I know using duration @50 compared to gross at .006 can get you ramp rate. But in this case the ramp would be 62...and I know thats not right.

So how can I convert 290 @ .004 to what it would be at .006?
If the ramp ends up being between an xe and xe-r I am getting this cam

How do these base circles compare to the other cams?

Is .600 lift too much for a 228?

I am just looking for something a little different than everyone else.

thanks a lot, Troy

Re: Check out this 228?

You really need heads with that cam.
I can't talk though, I have a 226 with .590 lift sitting in my closet waiting to be installed.
