Check Engine Light/ Gas tank pressure???

Check Engine Light/ Gas tank pressure???
My check engine light has been on, sometimes it will go off and then back on! I took it to Auto Zone and the guy said the code showed low pressure in the gas tank and that the only thing he knew to do was change the gas cap, After i did that the light has been on! (a Week).. So what else could it be? And if any what performance loss is this causing!

Do you mean SES light? This is just emissions stuff.
If your gas cap isn't on tight enough it'll trip the SES light. I think it take a certain number of start ups to get it to reset, or you could have reset yourself.
