Hi, a friend of mine has a 98 Camaro (auto), it starts, everything works, even the a/c works, but until the battery dies the alternator is ok, what more could it be?

 

I would get the battery load tested for starters, it may be something as simple as that. If that checks out, then I would check over the wiring, make sure you have good, clean, corrosion-free connections everywhere.
